How to get to our Hotel
No matter whether you arrive by car, train or plane: The Hotel an der Gruga is easy to reach by all means!
By car
From the nearby A 52 motorway, simply take exit no. 28 “Essen-Rüttenscheid” and follow the signs to Messe/Gruga. Stay on Alfredstrasse in the direction of Essen – Zentrum and turn left into Florastrasse and the next right into Eduard Lucas Strasse.
Our hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Messe – Eingang Ost.
By train
From Essen main station, take the subway U11 to “Messe Ost/Gruga” (travel time approx. 6 minutes). The walking distance to the hotel is 50 m.
A ride by cab costs about € 10.
By plane
The nearest airport is in Düsseldorf. For a cab ride, please allow about 20 minutes depending on traffic. The cab ride costs between € 50 and € 60 depending on the traffic.
Public Transportation
Our guests appreciate the direct and optimal transport connection from our hotel. The subway station of the line U11 is only 50 meters away.
From there you can reach many destinations.
