The Fair Essen
With 110,000 square meters of total exhibition space and 20,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space, Essen is the ninth largest exhibition site in Germany.
The Congress Center Essen (CCE) is directly connected to the trade fair. Its 28 rooms can accommodate around one thousand visitors for symposia, conferences and a wide variety of corporate events. The Grugahalle, which is also used for concerts and show events, is also part of the fairgrounds and rounds off the remarkable variety of events at the Essen location.
The Essen fairgrounds are home to around 55 trade fairs and exhibitions, ten of which are leading fairs such as the Essen Motor Show, Techno Classica Essen, Equitana
and the IPM (International Plant Fair) very popular. The attractive mix of international, national and regional trade and consumer fairs attracts around 1.5 million visitors every year.
Our Hotel An der Gruga is located in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance to the fair, so that you can leave your car at our place and visit the fair without the stress of travel and parking.
